Born and educated in Scotland, raised in landlocked Shropshire, Loris is an 18 year old solo sailor. Recently he spent 2 months sailing up from Ushuaia, Argentina to Puerto Montt, Chile, a 2000 nautical mile journey with open ocean passages, rip tides, icebergs and water spouts in some of the world's most dangerous waters. He is probably the youngest person to have done so. The longest he spent without talking to anyone was 19 days, which almost certainly made him even crazier. He now looks forward to featuring in magazines; Yachting Monthly and Helicopter Life.
He has many adventures lined up for the future including the Sahara desert, Mongolia and the Himalayas, and is now learning to surf and paraglide. Stay tuned!
