Liz Wegerer
Once a lawyer in the U.S., Liz chose the path less traveled in 2011. She sold everything she owned, packed a small suitcase, and headed to the Caribbean.
Her plan? To learn to kitesurf, become a scuba diving instructor, and slow down the stressful pace of her life. Mission accomplished on all counts.
Since then she's adventured to remote islands off the coast of Venezuela, spent 18 months living on Guernsey in the Channel Islands, and explored throughout Europe and the Caribbean. Now a freelance writer, she is the creator and author of The Adventures of Island Girl, a website designed to inspire others to say no to expectations and yes to living a life they love.
