Yestival
Since 2015 we’ve held a kind, adventurous storytelling weekend, sharing tales of adventure, kindness, triumph over adversity and ego-free success stories. We’re taking a break in 2020 but don’t worry, there will be plenty more going on elsewhere.
Woodland Gatherings
In 2019 the YesTribe became the beneficiaries of almost seven beautiful acres of woodland in Southern Oxfordshire, not far west of Henley on Thames. The woods are ours to protect and nurture, and they’re also the perfect setting for teaching woodland, bushcraft and camping skills.
Wake Up Wild
Wild camping is at the heart of The YesTribe. There’s nothing like an overnight microadventure to break up a hard working week, and waking up beneath a canopy of trees or on top of a hill with great views is the medicine our frazzled minds often needs.
The YesBus
Our unique solar powered countryside basecamp used to work in London, and now enjoys a working retirement in West Sussex. We open up the bus and its site - complete with firepit, campground, library and cinema - for two weekends a year on a donate-if-you-think-it’s-worth-it basis, and also hire out the site to schools, groups, teachers and companies to pay the bills.
Little Cup of Adventure
Thinking of an adventure but could do with some inspiration or guidance? Catch up with new and experienced adventures to share your ideas, formulate a plan and enjoy a cuppa at the same time.
Joypots
Mental health has often been at the centre of our events, and the Joypots is our safe space, an active cafe meet-up where it’s encouraged to chat about our struggles, but also to group together and deliver act of kindness. It feels good, to do that. Let’s fill our joypots.
YesStories
Our regular storytelling nights usually feature between 6 and 8 tales from different speakers, an update on all things SayYesMore and above all, good company, a halftime chance to meet new friends and natural inspiration on a weekday evening.
Picnic With Purpose
Gatherings on grass in the warmer months. Open air chats, nibbles and ideas to shape a better world.
Pod in the Park
Beforehand, a podcast is sent out. Then we discuss what we heard during a walk and cuppa.
Walks, Cycles and Paddles
Exactly what it says on the tin. We encourage YesTribers to invite others on walks, cycle and paddling trips, big and small.
Socials
No theme, no agenda, just good people meeting up, usually in a pub (and no, you won’t be forced to drink alcohol if you don’t want to :)
Feast in the Forest
Feast in the Forest is a microadventure with a culinary twist. Share a tasty meal with excellent company and enjoy some fresh air beneath the trees. Feeling brave? Then bring along ingredients to contribute to a mystery meal!
Breakfast Club
Mornings can be tough, so whether you like crunching cornflakes on your commute or Dutch pancakes on your dog walk, the YesTribe Breakfast Club brings people together to enjoy their morning meals.
