Guide for YesTribe Breakfast Club
Find a Location - This could be outside, inside, or even on public transport! Try and host the event somewhere along a popular commuter route or close to town so that people can easily come along even just for ten minutes on their way to work. Share a meeting spot for those who have selected ‘going’ on the Facebook event. (Google Maps, what3words, train carriage letters and café names are all perfectly good ways of doing this!)
Date in Calendar - Set a date at least couple of weeks in advance and create an event in your regional YesTribe group. Add it to the main SayYesMore calendar and share it with other regional pages too. The sooner you organise, the more people are likely to turn up.
Ideal Numbers - Ideal numbers would be 6-10 people.
Food - Encourage everyone to bring along food to share if they have time! If meeting in a café, make sure that it is open!
Introductions - If you have group members signed up who haven’t been to a YesTribe event before, then make some time to introduce yourself via Facebook or in person on the day. A quick explanation of SayYesMore and the YesTribe can also be provided by regular members.
Group Photo - Take a group photo during the event and post under the Events graphic on the SYM Team Facebook group along with the number of people who turned up and one/two line story about the event to help us share on social media.
