Sophie Harrison
GREEN SPACE EXPLORER
I’m Sophie - pictured here, somewhere in Glencoe, in the middle of my two adventure wingmen (wingwomen? wingbeings?).
I’ve spent a large part of life in Africa; refusing to put shoes on and bouncing along dirt roads on the roof of safari trucks. While my new London-based life chapter carries less threat of being charged by elephants, it’s challenged me to find adventure in different ways. For such a tiny island, Britain is full of some incredible green spaces. As a way of exploring these landscapes, this year I aim to walk to the highest point of all the UK’s 15 national parks, and I want to encourage as many people as I can to come along with me.
