URBAN MERMAID
There’s no rhyme or reason for the things Lindsey does. Well actually, she did once rollerskate to Bude in a nude suit, because it rhymed. But, ordinarily, she likes to give anything a try that creeps into her head. She’s cycled the length of Africa, swum the River Thames dressed as a mermaid, and run to Manchester whilst playing the ukulele on the radio each night.
Lindsey’s adventurous life stemmed from being inspired by a book. When her dad suddenly died, the characters in Follow the Rabbit Proof Fence helped her through a difficult time. Ten years later, she returned to Australia to retrace their journey. She felt so high and didn’t want to go back to the UK, so after walking 1000 miles she decided to circumnavigate the country with truck drivers.
