OUR 2018 LINE-UP
Our speakers are movers, shakers, trailblazers and change makers, all selected because they stand for something so much bigger than just their achievements.
If it's true that you're a reflection of the people you spend your time with, this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. All of our speakers were with us throughout the weekend, mingling and sharing ideas even when they're not on stage. With comedy and music in the evenings, along with all-day chats around the campfire, you'll never get a collection of people like that in one place, outside of Yestival!
The great thing about Yestival is that the speakers don't just rock up for 30 minutes, do their thing and then leave. They were lurking next to you in the dinner queue (in a non creepy way), sitting next to the fire, popping into the Bubble Belle Tent for a Q&A session and just enjoying the festival as everyone else.
The message is clear: yes, they've done something cool and that's why they get the stage for a while, but they're also normal, they're human, we're all ordinary but capable of the extraordinary.
In 2018 we had a brilliant line-up of over 30 brilliant humans (big and small) - click on their lovely faces below to find out more about them…
Early starts at Yestival
Whether it’s calming yoga, bangin’ beats or channeling your inner unicorn first thing in the morning, we’ve got you covered!
And our hosts...
Since deciding his cat shouldn't be having a better life than him Dave has embarked on endless adventures, social projects and other things that make Mondays worth waking up for.
From paddleboarding the Mississippi and swimming the Missouri, to skateboarding across Australia and riding a tricycle with a sail across the Atacama Desert, Dave's adventures led him to found SayYesMore, the YesTribe and Yestival, and he'll undoubtedly share some tales from road and water in between introducing other speakers to the stage.
Dave has completed fourteen non-motorised journeys over 1000 miles in distance, and we're looking forward to him sharing a bunch of never-before-heard tales about his less talked about journeys at Yestival this year.
Laura Kennington is a British adventure athlete with a passion for the endurance capability of the human body. Previous adventures include solo cycling the world's longest coastal route in Ireland, solo cycling Scotland’s North Coast 500 route, running the length of Fuerteventura (100 miles) in 4 days and circumnavigating three of the Channel Islands using three different sporting disciplines as part of a rather extreme triathlon! She has most recently returned from solo cycling 3700 miles along the North Sea-facing coasts of 8 countries, from Scotland to Norway!
A strong believer in the positive impact that adventure and sport can have on children and adults alike, Laura uses her human powered journeys as a platform to inspire and encourage others to get outside.
